Description

A vintage rattan lounge chair and ottoman set, crafted in the style of Bielecky Brothers, showcases a timeless blend of form and function. The rattan framework, painted in a crisp white, exhibits the characteristic robustness and intricate weaving associated with mid-century design. Notable is the geometric lattice pattern along the sides, which enhances its visual appeal. The chair's dimensions, 36.25 inches wide by 32 inches high and 22 inches deep, are complemented by an ottoman measuring 27.5 by 26.5 by 17.5 inches, offering a generous seating experience. The fabric upholstery, in a subdued beige, exhibits a slight fade, consistent with its age, yet it remains intact, retaining its original integrity and functionality. The cushions rest firmly within the rattan structure, which shows minor scuffs and paint loss, adding a layer of authenticity and charm typical for pieces of this vintage. Overall, the set remains structurally sound, with all original elements present, providing a glimpse into classic rattan craftsmanship. The design's harmonious balance between the sturdy rattan and soft upholstery reflects the enduring appeal of Bielecky Brothers' influence on modern furniture aesthetics.
