Description

Crafted from rattan, this vintage folding newspaper holder exemplifies mid-20th century design with its functional form and natural materials. The rattan showcases a warm, even patina that has developed gracefully over time, enhancing the piece's organic appeal. The surface reveals a consistent, tight weave, indicative of skilled craftsmanship. The holder features a gently curved silhouette, with two V-shaped sections that cradle newspapers or magazines effortlessly, while the lower shelf provides additional storage. Minor scuffs and light wear are visible on the legs, typical of vintage rattan, yet they do not detract from its overall structural integrity. The legs fold elegantly, allowing for convenient storage and mobility. The rattan finish remains original, offering an authentic glimpse into its period and ensuring its character remains intact. No visible repairs or significant damage are present, affirming its excellent preservation. Measuring 18.75 inches in width, 21.25 inches in height, and 15.5 inches in depth, this piece is both practical and versatile. Its compact dimensions make it suitable for various interior settings. The natural texture and classic design make it a distinctive addition to a curated collection of mid-century furnishings.
