Description
A vintage metal water fountain sculpture, standing at 38 inches tall, features an intricate design of cascading leaves and cattails, skillfully rendered to evoke the natural beauty of a garden pond. The metal surface displays a rich patina, accentuated by verdigris and areas of oxidation, which lend character and authenticity to the piece. The detailing of the leaves and floral elements showcases an artistic approach to form, with each component crafted to mimic the gentle curves and textures found in nature. The fountain rests on a sturdy metal base, structurally sound with elegant, curved legs that provide stability while complementing the organic theme of the sculpture. Minor rust and surface wear are evident, particularly on the base and edges, consistent with age and exposure. Despite these elements, the piece remains robust and free from significant damage or repairs. While the motor has not been tested, this fountain stands as a striking decorative element on its own. Its appealing weathered finish, with hues of copper and green, adds depth and dimension, making it a compelling focal point for any garden or interior space seeking a touch of vintage charm.
