Description

The “Montecito” collection by the legendary Michael Taylor is a masterclass in California Neoclassical design. This vintage wrought iron loveseat captures Taylor’s signature ability to blend grand architectural forms with casual, breezy elegance. Featuring a sturdy iron frame adorned with fluted neoclassical finials and delicate acanthus leaf detailing, this settee is a true collector's piece. The sweeping, rhythmic lines of the backrest and armrests provide a sophisticated silhouette, making it an ideal choice for a high-end sunroom, a covered veranda, or a chic outdoor garden setting. Measuring 62 inches in width, 33 inches in depth, and 34 inches in height, this loveseat is as comfortable as it is stylish, currently paired with a deep navy blue upholstered cushion for a classic nautical contrast. It remains in great vintage condition, showcasing a beautiful "chippy" paint finish and minor surface oxidation that acts as a soulful patina, adding authentic weathered character and historical depth to the piece. This iconic Michael Taylor design offers a rare opportunity to own a cornerstone of mid-century luxury. Add this stunning settee to your curated collection or coastal oasis today.
