Description

This iconic "flip-top" partner's desk, designed by Peter Løvig Nielsen for Hedensted Møbelfabrik, is a masterpiece of Danish Modern engineering. Crafted from high-quality teak with a rich, honeyed grain, it features a unique hinged hutch that flips down to create an expanded, flat workspace or a shared partners-desk configuration. The organizer section includes thoughtfully designed letter slots and two small drawers, all characterized by the designer's signature sculptural, circular carved pulls. Its minimalist, floating silhouette and masterfully joined legs reflect the premium standards of 1960s Scandinavian craftsmanship and architectural design. A sophisticated centerpiece for a home office or professional studio, this desk measures 64" wide, 28.75" deep, and 33.75" tall. It remains in great vintage condition, showing minor scuffs and surface blemishes appropriate to its age that serve as a beautiful, authentic patina. The "Løvig Dansk Design" stamp confirms its provenance and exceptional quality. This rare architectural find is a definitive statement piece for collectors and designers looking to elevate their environment with refined mid-century furniture. We invite you to add this functional work of art to your personal collection today.
