Description
This stunning vintage Italian stacked glass table lamp is a masterful display of mid-century glassmaking artistry. Crafted from hand-blown glass, the oversized ovoid body features a striking central band of opaque white spiral filigree, executed with the precision of classic Murano mezza filigrana techniques. The transparent upper and lower sections create an airy, ethereal aesthetic that perfectly captures the sophisticated Space Age elegance of the 1970s. When illuminated, the light radiates through the textured swirls, casting a soft, architectural glow that instantly elevates any refined interior or contemporary lounge. Measuring 15.5" in diameter and 21" tall, this substantial lamp features a rare integrated vase design at the crown, allowing for a custom botanical arrangement to be showcased directly atop the light source. It remains in great vintage condition, displaying minor surface scuffs and gentle signs of age that serve as a beautiful authentic patina, highlighting its handcrafted origins. This versatile piece bridges the gap between functional lighting and sculptural art, making it a definitive statement for a grand sideboard or entryway console. Secure this exceptional example of Italian modernism for your collection today.
