Description
A pair of vintage inset mirror side tables crafted from wood and glass, likely mid-20th century, showcases a refined design with a focus on functionality and elegance. The warm patina of the original finish is evident, enhancing the golden hue of the wood, which is complemented by the inset mirrored tops. The tops reflect light subtly, adding depth and dimension to the tables' appearance. The tables are supported by slender, turned legs that exhibit minor scuffs and light surface scratches, indicative of careful use over time. These legs connect to a lower shelf, providing additional storage or display space, with the wood grain revealing a slightly darker shade, adding contrast to the overall design. The craftsmanship is evident in the well-executed joinery and the proportionate balance of the components, ensuring structural integrity without any visible repairs. These side tables are versatile in application, suitable for a variety of settings. Their dimensions, with a width of 22 inches, height of 28.25 inches, and depth of 11 inches, make them ideal for flanking a sofa or as standalone pieces. The understated design allows them to blend seamlessly into both traditional and contemporary interiors.
