Description
A vintage ceramic vase featuring an abstract design in varying shades of green, showcasing a vibrant and dynamic glaze. The form is gently rounded with a slightly tapering waist, imparting a sense of organic fluidity to its silhouette. The surface is adorned with an array of green hues, ranging from deep forest tones to lighter, more translucent washes, suggesting a natural, almost watercolor-like effect. These variations in color are interspersed with subtle streaks and pooling, adding depth and character to the piece. The glaze exhibits minor surface irregularities that are consistent with the age and handmade nature of the vase, contributing to its unique charm. Despite these, the vase remains in very good condition, with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs evident upon inspection. Its dimensions of 6.5 inches in width and depth, and 8.5 inches in height, make it a versatile decorative object. The overall craftsmanship and bold aesthetic make it a striking addition to any collection of vintage ceramics, reflecting both the artistry and spontaneity that define mid-century abstract ceramic work. The piece is structurally sound, ready to be appreciated for its artistic merit and historical resonance.
