Description

This expressive metal sculpture captures the tender bond between a mother gorilla and her baby with remarkable warmth and texture. Cast in a rich, earthy-toned metal with green and bronze patina, the piece emphasizes the flowing contours of the mother’s fur as she cradles her child protectively in her lap. The mother’s face, detailed with a calm and watchful gaze, contrasts with the baby’s curious, upturned expression, drawing the viewer into an emotional narrative of care, protection, and innocence. The textured surface and stylized form lend the piece both visual complexity and a timeless, almost mythic presence.
