Description

Illuminate your space with the warmth and craftsmanship of this striking pair of vintage turned wood table lamps. Masterfully constructed using a segmented or marquetry technique, the lamps feature alternating strips of light and dark hardwoods—likely pine, cedar, and mahogany—creating a bold, striped vertical pattern that accentuates the curvaceous, urn-shaped silhouette. The design is rich in detail, with a flared neck and a stepped base that showcases the beautiful contrasting grain of the woods. This piece perfectly embodies the "Wood Shop Modern" aesthetic of the 1970s and 80s, blending rustic materials with clean, architectural lines. Substantial and visually engaging, these lamps are perfect for adding organic texture to a bedroom nightstand, a living room end table, or a cozy library corner. They bridge the gap between Boho Chic and Mid-Century Modern design. Measurements: 7.25″ Diameter × 19.25″ Height (to top of socket). In great vintage condition, the wood retains a smooth, lustrous finish. There are minor scuffs and surface blemishes appropriate to age and use, contributing to a handsome patina. The wiring is intact. Bring home this handcrafted duo to add a touch of natural elegance to your decor.
