Description
Crafted from wood with a rich black lacquer finish, this vintage chinoiserie dry bar showcases the decorative elegance typical of its style. The piece is adorned with hand-painted scenes depicting traditional Chinese figures and landscapes, rendered in a palette of soft greens, whites, and golds. These intricate designs are present on both the front panels and the sides, offering a harmonious visual flow around the entire piece. The dry bar stands on elegantly curved feet, which add a touch of refinement, while the brass hardware, including the ornate door pulls, maintains an authentic vintage charm with a gentle patina. The original lacquer finish, while exhibiting some age-appropriate patina and fading, retains its glossy allure, interspersed with noticeable surface scratches and scuffs, most prominently on the front panels. Structurally sound, the bar retains all its original components. Its dimensions provide a compact yet functional space for storage and display, making it a versatile addition to a variety of interiors. The piece is a testament to the enduring appeal of chinoiserie, capturing both the aesthetic and cultural influences that define this timeless style. Fully extended 51.25x30.25x52.25
