Milo Baughman (1923–2003) was an American furniture designer whose work helped define the relaxed character of mid-century modern interiors. His collaboration with North Carolina manufacturer Thayer Coggin lasted from 1953 until 2003. Baughman favored lasting, approachable design over passing fashion, creating sofas, lounge chairs and tables that combine clear shapes with a sense of ease.
